We’ve explored the compelling reality that we are being formed by our habits, relationships, environments and more. We are not a ‘blank slate’. Therefore, Christian formation is often counter-formation. As apprentices of Jesus, our goal is to intentionally slow our lives down to find peace and formation in our journey with Jesus.
As you consider the ways you are being unintentionally formed, what feels most challenging? Surprising? Encouraging?

Have you had a time or season in your spiritual journey when you felt stuck, whether that was in habits, emotional patterns, unwise choices or in relationship to God?
With the idea of intentional spiritual formation in mind, how have you participated in your formation as a follower of Jesus? (Habits, rhythms, etc.)
How have you understood the role of the Holy Spirit in the formation process?
When have you intentionally opened your pain and suffering to God? What did He produce in you through that experience?

What did you learn about yourself through the Spiritual Audit? Did anything surprise you? Did you notice the adjustments needed? What encouraged you?
This week, how will you be intentional in the reading of Scripture? What is your plan? (Be Specific)
Would you consider implementing the practice of prayer with the reading of Scripture? Allow the truth of God’s word to shape your conversation with Him.
