He Came

Passage:

Colossians 1:15-20

Who He is:

• The image of the invisible God (Colossians 1:15, 19)
• The Firstborn over all creation (Colossians 1:15-17)
• The Head of the Church (Colossians 1:18)
• The Firstborn from among the dead (Colossians 1:18)

Why He came:

• To reveal the Father (Colossians 1:15, 19)
• To restore creation (Colossians 1:16-20)
• To reconcile us to God (Colossians 1:20)

What it means:

• We must reorder our lives.
• We must relinquish control.
• We can rejoice in Him.
