Aspirians on Mission: Meal Packing

Volunteer to represent Aspire at the meal packing event in collaboration with our DCPS faith-based partner, Spring Park Elementary, and our community ministry partner, One More Child! Let us know you are interested by registering for the event on the Aspire to Serve form.

Note that a current DCPS volunteer application is required to participate in this activity. Apply or check your status HERE.

Once approved to volunteer with DCPS, plan to arrive at Spring Park at 8:30aml Park in the public park next to the school (there are ball fields and a playground) to avoid morning drop-off traffic. Walk to the front office with your photo ID for verification purposes. From there, we will help the teachers and staff organize the students to unload the OMC trucks with all the items they will be packing.

Wear comfy shoes and an Aspire t-shirt if you have one! After cleaning up at Spring Park, we will head to One More Child to unload bags and enjoy a tour to learn more about their work. We should be done by around 11am.
