Tried
August 19, 2018
Have you ever felt like you were on trial? Maybe you actually were in a court of law or maybe it was just an intense conversation with a person asking really hard questions. The Apostle Paul was frequently brought before officials and interrogated about his faith in Jesus and his activities sharing that faith throughout the Roman empire. On each occasion, Paul took the opportunity to share the good news about Jesus Christ. In a threatening environment, when some would shrink away, Paul stepped up and made a passionate and reasonable defense of the faith. Join us for part 12 of Journey to the Ends of the Earth where we will examine Acts 26 and learn a simple, but effective plan for sharing our faith.
But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander.
1 Peter 3:15-16
