Before Jeremiah was born, God chose him for a purpose. This isn’t only true for Jeremiah, but for every person who has ever lived. To be created in God’s image is to be created for a purpose. Paul said, “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works which He has prepared in advance for us to do,” (Ephesians 2:10).
